POWERlink Controls, Now on Apple CarPlay
One of the biggest updates is expanded access to supported tuning controls through Apple CarPlay. Compatible IE tune suites can bring adjustable features to your vehicle's MMI display, with Siri voice commands and home-screen widgets adding convenient ways to access supported settings.
CarPlay access is available across IE Core, Pro, and Apex tune suites. The controls available depend on the features included in your specific tune. CarPlay adds another way to access supported features and does not replace the IE POWERlink app.

IE B8.5 2.0T ECU Tune — TrueFlex at Every Stage
Updated calibration · Qualifying B8.5 2.0T applications
TrueFlex ethanol adaptation is now included at every stage when using qualifying factory-installed Flex Fuel hardware. No separate sensor kit is required for these supported configurations.

IE B9 3.0T ECU Tune Suite — Core / Pro / Apex
New tune suite · Audi S4, S5, and SQ5 3.0T
IE's tiered tuning suite brings adjustable performance features to supported B9 3.0T applications. Depending on the selected tier, supported live adjustments include exhaust crackles, exhaust flap control, launch RPM, and throttle response through the app or CarPlay.
- Core — $749.99: The entry-level tune suite.
- Pro — $949.99: Adds Stage 2 maps, adjustable exhaust crackles, TrueFlex maps, Valet Mode, kick-down disable, and coolant fan control.
- Apex — $1,049.99: Adds adjustable anti-lag and rolling anti-lag, boost by gear, adjustable throttle response, and Stage 3 map pack support.
IE advertises up to 505 HP on the stock turbo and up to 739 HP with a Stage 3 turbo. TrueFlex functionality requires the IE Ethanol Sensor Kit.
IE B9 2.9T ECU Tune Suite — Core / Pro / Apex
New tune suite · Audi RS4 and RS5 2.9T
The new 2.9T suite brings tiered tuning options and supported live controls to compatible RS4 and RS5 applications.
- Core — $799.99: The entry-level tune suite.
- Pro — $999.99: Adds Stage 2 maps, adjustable exhaust crackles, TrueFlex maps, Valet Mode, kick-down disable, and coolant fan control.
- Apex — $1,099.99: Adds adjustable anti-lag and rolling anti-lag, boost by gear, adjustable throttle response, and no-lift shift for manual applications.
IE advertises up to 522 HP on pump gas and up to 604 HP with ethanol. TrueFlex functionality requires the IE Ethanol Sensor Kit.

This dedicated calibration is designed for the updated ECU found in the B9.5 45 TFSI. It supports at-home flashing through IE POWERlink rather than a mail-in file exchange. The calibration supports 91- and 93-octane fuel; ethanol maps are not included.
IE AutoProtect monitors engine conditions and can reduce power if operating limits are exceeded.

TrueShift can override locked factory TCU shift points from the paddles. Configuration is handled through the dedicated TrueShift page in the IE POWERlink app.
