Overview

Eliminate one of the largest airflow restrictions on your Audi B9/B9.5 SQ5 with the Integrated Engineering Turbo Inlet Pipe. Engineered to dramatically increase airflow to the turbocharger, the IE Turbo Inlet flows up to 23% more air than stock on its own and up to 57.6% more airflow when paired with the IE Intake System on hybrid turbo applications. The result is improved turbo efficiency, faster spool, increased horsepower potential, and the airflow capacity needed for future upgrades.

Constructed from aircraft-grade cast aluminum and precision CNC machined in-house, the IE Turbo Inlet is designed to maximize every available millimeter of space within the engine bay. Compatible with both the factory turbocharger and many popular hybrid turbo upgrades, this inlet is the perfect companion to the IE SQ5 Intake System.

Maximum Airflow Design

Using high-resolution 3D scanning technology, Integrated Engineering engineers optimized every available millimeter of engine bay space to create the largest turbo inlet possible without interfering with factory components. The result is a substantially larger flow path that reduces restriction while maintaining excellent fitment and reliability.

Aircraft-Grade Cast Aluminum Construction

The turbo inlet is manufactured from premium aircraft-grade aluminum castings before undergoing multiple precision CNC machining operations in-house. This process allows IE to create complex internal shapes that maximize airflow while ensuring exceptional durability, precise fitment, and an attractive machined finish.

Hybrid Turbo Ready

The IE Turbo Inlet is engineered to support both the factory turbocharger and a variety of aftermarket hybrid turbochargers. Optional CNC-machined adapter rings allow the inlet to maintain the largest possible flow path while adapting seamlessly to different compressor inlet sizes.

Slip-Fit Installation

Because of its significantly larger size, traditional installation methods can be frustrating. IE solves this with an innovative billet aluminum slip-fit retainer post that replaces the difficult lower mounting bolt with a simple, leak-free installation method that greatly reduces installation time.

Flow Bench Tested

Every aspect of the turbo inlet was engineered using extensive flow bench testing to maximize airflow over the restrictive factory plastic inlet. When combined with the IE Intake System, the inlet dramatically increases airflow capacity, reduces restriction, and provides the foundation for higher horsepower builds.

Precision CNC Machining

Each casting is machined entirely in-house using Integrated Engineering's CNC equipment and strict quality control procedures. This ensures every inlet meets precise dimensional tolerances while delivering an OEM-quality installation and finish.
