E85 and other ethanol blends can require substantially more fuel volume than gasoline. The ID1050-XDS injector system is designed to support compatible performance applications where additional injector capacity is required.

US-DENSO Plug-and-Play Harness Adapters Included

This complete injector upgrade kit includes plug-and-play (PnP) jumper adapters designed to connect the Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS injectors to the factory engine wiring harness. The adapters simplify electrical integration without requiring you to modify the original vehicle harness.

Special ECU Tuning Required

A custom or injector-compatible ECU calibration is required before operating the vehicle with these injectors. The larger injectors must be properly characterized and calibrated in the engine management system to account for injector flow, offset, and other fueling parameters.

Confirm with your tuner that the calibration supports the ID1050-XDS injectors and your intended fuel, including E85. Injector installation alone does not provide the calibration needed for safe operation.

For Stage 2 E85 builds, final fueling capability depends on the complete fuel system, engine configuration, fuel pressure, calibration, and operating conditions. Confirm that your existing high-pressure fuel pump and other supporting components are suitable for your target before installation.

Tuning Requirements

Injector upgrades require a compatible ECU calibration using the correct injector characterization data. Injector Dynamics provides characterization information to help tuners account for injector flow behavior, voltage offset, and short-pulse operation.

Professional installation and calibration are recommended. Injector selection alone does not guarantee a specific horsepower result or ensure that every Stage 2 E85 setup will have sufficient fueling capacity.
