Overview
After dealing with exhaust clearance issues for years on the B8/B8.5 platform, we decided to solve the issue for good.
Every B8 owner knows the struggle of installing an aftermarket exhaust system just to be met with a loud rattling sound on their first drive. You can space the factory bracket with nuts or washers, but this is a poor solution that greatly reduces body contact and reduces the effectiveness of the brace. Other billet options on the market exist, but due to their design can only offer a mild increase in exhaust clearance and have to be spaced with washers half of the time anyway.
We have put together a design that offers more clearance than any billet tunnel brace while being thicker than the OEM part and still sitting higher off the ground than the factory air guides for optimal ground clearance!

Note: Although this brace does fit the 8R Q5/SQ5 platform, there is no benefit in terms of exhaust clearance, since the OEM brace sits above the exhaust, not below.
