When installing a new turbo or electric wastegate into your MQB vehicle, setting the correct wastegate voltage is critical. Unfortunately, the location of the turbocharger in the engine bay can make this more difficult, due to the position of the wastegate actuator. ÊIn order to overcome this hindrance, weÕve produced wastegate extension harnesses that are plug and play, giving you enough room to install the wastegate and make the adjustments you need while the turbo is uninstalled from the vehicle.ÊÊ

Installation:

• Connect the male end of our EQT extension harness to the wastegate electrical connector in the carÊ
• Connect the female end of our EQT extension harness to the wastegate installed on your turbo on the benchÊÊ
• Start the diagnosis program of your choiceÊ
• Turn the ignition to theÊaccessoryÊposition and set the voltage of your wastegate or activate your wastegate to troubleshoot your issue.ÊÊÊ
