Do not compromise performance and sound with factory parts. Designed using the latest in CAD technology; this part is made to fit perfectly in place of restrictive factory catalytic converter. Manufactured from CAST T304 stainless steel; hand TIG welded and back-purged to ensure years of reliable performance. In addition to unleashing the power and performance of your 3.0T, the CTS Audi SQ5 High-Flow Cat will make your vehicle sound like an S-car really should. When installed with factory exhaust it produces a sporty growl with much more pronounced exhaust "crackle" on downshift. While up-shifting you will enjoy a confident "braappp!" as you bang through all 8 gears. The sound will be even louder if you already have an aftermarket exhaust system.

Details

Includes 200cell sport catalytic converter

Designed and tested on a real car in the real world

Cast T304 stainless steel, TIG welded back-purged construction

Replaces restrictive factory catalytic converter

Great power upgrade with uncompromising performance

Incredible sporty exhaust sound, subtle when cruising

No drone with factory exhaust

To remove the CEL that will occur, proper stage 2 tuning software must be used.

Fitment

Introducing Canadian Auto Performance's B9/B9.5 SQ5 Downpipe - Version 3!

This is Version 3 of CAP's downpipe for the B9/B9.5 SQ5. Designed in house using precise scanning tools, this downpipe is made to replace your OEM restrictive catalytic converter.

In order to maximize the diameter and sizing of this downpipe, this CAP downpipe is made from CAST T304 stainless steel. Unlike the majority of other downpipes on the market, that are actually smaller in diameter than the OEM catalytic converter, this CAP downpipe is made as large as possible to optimize flow and have the best spool time for your SQ5's turbo.

Choose from CAP's beautiful 304 stainless steel catless downpipe or our 304 stainless steel heat shielded catless downpipe.

Introducing the Canadian Auto Performance B9/B9.5 SQ5 catless downpipe! Although professional install is always recommended, the install time of this downpipe generally only takes around the 2 hour mark.

Key Features Of the CAP 3.0T Downpipe For B9/B9.5 SQ5 Platform:

100% TIG welded & back purged

Constructed of top quality 304 Stainless Steel

Precision CNC machined flanges

Bolt-on installation

Faster turbo spool up & better throttle response

Improved exhaust note

Improved exhaust flow

Increased HP and torque

The removal of factory catalytic converters will trigger a check engine light.
